14 years ago, I joined one of those “mommy boards” right after my youngest son was born. Little did I know that all these years later, I would finally meet one of the moms face to face that I have remained friends with all these years.

Katie has followed me since the beginning of my career so it was an absolute honor to head down to Lover’s Key Beach in North Ft Myers to capture her son’s wedding.

Lynnsie and Dylan just wanted a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family. Lover’s Key Beach is perfect for that since it’s tucked away and not many people around.

Lynnsie got ready Courtyard Marriot in Ft Myers so I headed there first to make sure that we got a few photos of her getting ready. Even though they didn’t have a bridal party, she had a good friend of her’s there to help her get ready and into her dress.

And when you have full windows, it’s hard not to take advantage of the light that comes in

The drive from the hotel to Lover’s Key Beach is only 8 miles but in Florida driving, that’s 45 minutes so off we headed to the beach. Everyone else was already out there so we tucked Lynnsie away in the car and headed to the beach for the ceremony.

The walk from the top of the beach to the ceremony site is a little long so it gave time for Dylan to soak it all in and see how gorgeous his bride looked.

Once family formals were done, it was time for just them. I couldn’t resist getting a few of them and their kids. I mean look at them?! How could I not!
