A few weeks ago, Thomas from Abundant Grace Photography asked if I could fill in for him at Natalie & Zack’s wedding in Siesta Key. He’d been battling covid so I was more than welcome to help out.

I headed over the Skyway to Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota. The wedding was on a private beach at the Sunset Beach Resort. The resort has a few condos so it’s the perfect spot to get ready, have your wedding on their private beach and then the courtyard area is great for a small reception. By all means this is not a huge venue but perfect for a micro wedding (30 guests or less).

It was my first time working with Michelle from Precious Moments Events. She was an absolute joy to work with and kept everything running smoothly. She also might have had a small super power at wishing away the rain. As I headed over the Skyway, it started down pouring. As a photographer headed to shoot a beach wedding with no backup, your stomach starts dropping the closer you get. By the time I got there, the rain had let up and we were ready to rock.

Natalie & Zack are the most laid back couple so they just went with the flow of everything and let Michelle handle it all. By the end of the night, it was perfect, they were celebrating with friends and they were married!
